Today is the last in-class lecture and workshop for three weeks. Guest speaker Rob Phillips discussed computers and what the advertising really means when discussing computers. I had never understood what RAM, Processor and GHz stood for and after this lecture I had a very small understanding of it. The class was very active and I found myself moving around the room to understand the way a computer works for effectively. The lecture was informative but I don't think I could comprehend the information as well as I should have.
The workshop was very helpful. We went into the library computer room and were able to have a very detailed lesson on using Endnote. I have casually used Endnote the last year but never felt entirely confident using it. The ladies were very helpful and went through the proper way to reference correctly using books, websites and how to use GoogleScholar and the Murdoch University library database to find resources for the assignment. I feel so much more confident now in using Endnote and think it will be very useful for this assignment. We then returned to the classroom before discussing the next assignment which is a group one. I decided to go into a group with my sister Jess and another member of the class. As I live with my sister I felt that we would be able to encourage each other and brainstorm together when doing this assignment. 

At home I decided to look through the lecture slides again. There I was able to read the slides and write notes that are more detailed so that I could gain a further understanding and have those notes there for the exam. After I had finished that I began to brainstorm what subject to research. As I participated in a drama class all through high school and have always had a love for it I decided that I would focus of drama and how technology can be used in teaching it. I began by using the Murdoch University Library database to find a book. There I was able to find a very detailed book that covered technology in drama teaching. As it is a very long book I decided to use the introduction and contents page to discuss what the information in the book is about. I then used GoogleScholar to find a journal article, which is where I was able to find a informative article that discussed the importance of combining drama and technology. 
I think this assignment will definitely end in me feeling more comfortable in using Endnote and I'm excited to be using my love for drama as part of an assignment.
