This week was my first week back at university after the long summer break. In EDN113 we are learning about technology and how it can be used in the classroom to benefit children. In the workshop we are using the smartboard and as I am studying early childhood and primary education I know how important technology can be to help a child to learn. Learning about the smartboard and what it can be used for will definitely help in the way that I will teach in the future as then I will be able to create classes that are exciting and beneficial to the children's education. Technology can also used to help students that may have any learning difficulties or disabilities. Using products such as the Ipad can help a student with autism as they are able to work at their own pace and it will also help them to develop. I feel that this class will give me a better understanding of how things work and how they can be put into practice in the classroom.   

As the first part of this assignment is due in this week I decided to look at the companion page for this assignment to make sure that I was on the right track for this assignment. There it discussed the blogs and how to reflect correctly and also how to submit your work before the due date.
